CUSCINO PILLOW BETTA SPLENDENS GOLD #3
The PILLOW PILLOW BETTA SPLENDENS GOLD is part of the collection that promotes NO SILK with alternative fabrics to silk.
The PILLOW BETTA SPLENDENS GOLD #3 è un cushion dedicated to Betta splendens fish, an elegant fish originating from South East Asia that is able to adapt to very extreme conditions and habitats. Its fins are long and flowing with shades that vary in multiple colors. This golden yellow color flyer was photographed by Katherine Lu, a specialist photographer for six underwater divers. the Betta splendens is also better known as “fighting fish” for his aggressive and fierce temperament towards his fellow men, but who becomes a loving father, is famous for his parental skills, takes care of the young and does not even allow the mother to approach.
When browsing through Lu’s photographic archive we saw his images depicting magnificent specimens of Betta Splendens we immediately loved them! We asked Lu to be able to use his photos within our project to be able to create the PILLOW BETTA SPLENDENS GOLD.
We would also like our PILLOW BETTA SPLENDENS GOLD cushions from Lu to be welcomed in your home, perhaps in replacement of aquariums that are too narrow and unsuitable for life. An animal born to be free. For us at Fashionature Il Betta is a beautiful ornamental fish, but only if depicted on our cushions, on our furnishings, or on our t-shirts always in contact with our hearts.
This symbol identifies that our cushions are printed with Ecological inks, that is free from substances potentially harmful to the person who wears them.
AZO-FREE certified fabrics do not contain azo dyes and heavy metals. This certification guarantees that all the colors used are NOT toxic to the skin and health. During the manufacture of the fabric, the environmental risks in the country of production are therefore limited.
The printed side of the cushion is made of cotton sateen, veg-friendly natural fiber with characteristics similar to silk.
Why NO SILK? Because Fashionature does not use materials of animal origin in its products. Many perhaps do not know that to make the silk yarn the butterfly larvae are killed by immersing them in hot water or through the use of high temperature ovens.
Smooth, compact and shiny cotton sateen is a cruelty-free and veg-friendly fabric, a valid alternative to silk.
